Malkajgiri MP Revanth Reddy has resigned to the post of working president in the Congress party. It is part of the mass resignations that the party leaders have given for stopping Rahul Gandhi from leaving the party President post. Nearly 400 leaders from various states have resigned to the Congress party posts.It may be noted that Rahul Gandhi the Congress chief is not interested in continuing as the party President. He wants a new man to take charge of the post so that new people come into the party.
Ponnam Prabhakar another leader who an MP also has resigned to the party post. It may be noted that there were a lot of expectations on Revanth when he took the post of party President in Telangana. But he could not achieve anything against the TRS. He also lost the election miserably and later got elected as an MP. Now the latest is that he has resigned to the post of the working President.It has to be seen if these resignations can retain Rahul in his post for the future.
