Manjula the mother of Col Santosh Babu who died in a fight against the Chinese soldiers at the Indo China border, was actually waiting for him to come back in September.
She said that her son Santosh was very happy that he would be returning to the Hyderabad bases and that he need not go for any fights at the borders.
Santosh was trained at the NDA and has become a trainer in the NDA later which is a rare achievement. His father Upendra said that his son was a brave man and never expected that he would die at the Indo China border.
Wif Santoshi was also expecting him to come back in September so that they would shift from Delhi to Hyderabad. They were in fact all planning to stay together and lea a peaceful life.
But unfortunately, this incident happened and Santosh died at the border. The funeral arrangements are being made here at this agriculture lands in Suryapet.
Both police and Army are together making the arrangements for the funeral which is supposed to be done on Thursday. CM K Chandrasekhar Rao is also looking into the arrangements as to what actually was being done to honour the great son of the soil who died in a war to protect our borders.
