The TTD EO has decided to open more number of Hotels on Tirumala so that the food can be provided a affordable rates to the pilgrims. Providing tasty and hygienic food to the multitude of visiting pilgrims to Tirumala at reasonable prices is the objective of TTD, asserted TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao.
As a part of the departmental review meeting in Gokulam Rest House at Tirumala, the EO along with JEO Sri Veerabrahmam discussed in detail about the Big and Janata Hotels in Tirumala.
He invited suggestions from Sri Challeswara Rao, Faculty, Indian Culinary Institute and Sri Chowdary, GM, Taj Hotels on how to shortlist the branded hotels to provide best quality food at affordable prices.
Earlier Tirumala Estates Special Officer Sri Mallikharjuna explained about the hotels in Tirumala through a Power Point Presentation. The food in big hotels is costly and the food in Janata hotels is OK, but not that Hygenic.
The rates have to come down. Annaprasadam DyEO Sri Rajendra, Catering Special Officer Sri Sastry and others were also present.
TTD EO also held review meeting with JIO Team about the various IT services provided in TTD and with Temple staff on Organic Prasadams.
