After the Maoists threat to the PM, the close protection group(CPG) of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been changed and altered with sharpshooters. The PM has been advised not to make unscheduled visits and walks across the venues during the road shows. The police were also told not to allow the PM to walk on his own without prior intimation to the CPG.
Modi in person has been briefed by the threat perception by the CSO and was told about the dos donts while he out of the office or on the foreign tours.
The CAT sleuths have also been deployed with the PM now. It is the counter assault team which can eliminate the terrorists in a matter of seconds. All the sleuths of the 4 teams have been briefed and changed according to the need and the situation.
There is a naxal desk with the Home Minister Rajnath Singh who have been despatched to Pune to find out about the finer details of the so-called operation to kill the PM in the style and fashion of Late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.
The protection groups are worried as the PM has several times overruled their decision and broke the security cordon and walked into the crowds all of a sudden throwing the security to winds.
He walked the Rajpath Road while on a parade and the security people had a tough time guarding him.
