Modi worships at TTD

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Tirumala last night as part of his two-day pilgrimage to the temple of Lord Venkateswara (TTD) .

He worshipped the Lord Balaji this morning. He was welcomed by the Temple priests with the Traditional Poornakumbam and was later given Ashirvachanma along with Prasadam at Ranganayakula Mandapam.

Modi reached the Tirupati airport at 6.50 p.m. from Dundigal, near Hyderabad, and proceed to the temple town, where he stayed for the night.

He offered prayers at the temple half an hour ahead of schedule this morning. He has spent about 50 minutes inside the temple.

After darshan, Modi returned to the guest house. He left Tirumala at 9.30 a.m. and reached Tirupati airport at 10.20 a.m. for his onward journey to the Hakimpet airport in Secunderabad.

Beigh Karthika Somavaram, today Modi has got the Lord Balajis darshan on an auspicious day.
