In a surprise move, Prime Minister Modi moved out of the Bharat Biotech company gate and waved to crowds. He greeted them with a namasthe. The crowds shouted the slogans Jai Sree Ram and Bharat Maa Ki jai.
The police were surprised to see Modi stopping outside the company to greet the crowds.
Modi came to Hyderabad at about 1.20 and then moved out of Hyderabad at about quarter to three. Modi talked to the scientists for about one and a half hours.
Modi was happy to know that the Covacine being manufacture here in Hyderabad at Bharat Biotech is in an advanced stage when compared to other companies like Pfizer.
PMs vehicle was parked outside the companies gate and he walked up to the car. Then he waved to the crowds.
Later he reached Hakimpet Airport to go to Pune, the third destination to check Covid vaccine.
Earlier the PM was greeted by CS Somesh Kumar, District collector Swetha Mohanty and CP Sajjanar.
