Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to follow the Telangana CM KCR it is reported. After meeting KCR yesterday, the Prime Minister met Arun Jaitley the finance Minister and discussed on the measures to be taken to give a helping hand to the farming community.The idea is to address the farmers distress, waiver of loans demanded by Rahul Gandhi and also take measures to instil confidence in the farming community like KCR did in Telangana. KCR measures have paid rich dividends to the party and got the thumping majority. The big decision to help farmers will be announced in the New Year 2019 in the parliament session.
This outreach to farmers will give a new boost to the BJP and the NDA rule it is learnt. Modi along Jaitley and others have decided that they will go all out to support the farmers who form a major chunk of the electorate. It is about 100 days for the General elections and Modi has lost the semifinals already. The GST has been Modified, Aadhar link is simplified and now the farmer’s issues will be addressed. Minimum support is one area where the government would like to come in for the farmer. The difference in MSP will be settled by the Government. The announcement will come before January 5.
