PM Modi is taking a big risk to settle the issue Ukraine war. He travelled for about ten hours in a train and he would have to come back in the train by travelling for another ten hours.
The prime minister travelled to Kyiv from Poland in a ‘Rail Force One’ train that took around 10 hours. The return trip will also be of the same duration. India has not yet condemned the Russian invasion of Ukraine and has been calling for resolution of the conflict through dialogue and diplomacy.
Before leaving Warsaw, Modi said his Poland visit was “special”. His visit to Poland was the first trip by an Indian Prime Minister to the country in the past 45 years. Negotiating for Ukraine is a big risk and the Chinese Government is already making moves over the issue.
The Chinese do not want India and PM Modi to get the credit for the peace negotiations. It looks as if Russia has indirectly asked Modi to end the war with negotiations. The ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and West Asia are a pressing concern for the global community and the loss of innocent lives in any crisis has become the biggest challenge for the entire humanity, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Thursday as India and Poland announced the elevation of ties to a strategic partnership.
Towards this, they agreed to formulate and execute a five-year action plan that will guide bilateral collaboration in the years 2024-2028 across several areas.
