Modi remembers Rajiv Gandhi and corruption

Prime Minister Narendra Modi without naming Rajiv Gandhi the former Prime Minister who made a comment earlier that only 15 paisa reaches the common man from the one rupee delivered by the central Government. Modi said that Congress never tried to stop the leakage of 85 paise during their regime. The loot went on he said.

PM Modi was talking in the Pravasi Divas meet where NRIs gathered in big numbers at Varanasi. He impressed upon them that the BJP government has plugged in the 10 paise by sending the money directly to their bank accounts and that there was transparency and the people were happy.

Modi said that the NRIs were the brand ambassadors for India and that they have proved that the Indians have capacities and also capabilities. He thanked them for making India proud wherever they are. Modi said that the Congress Prime Minister himself agreed that only 15 paisa reaches the poor and the common man and that the 85 paisa is gone in the transit into various hands. This is nothing but corruption he opined.

Now there is no corruption and here technology is being used for the direct transfer of money into the personal accounts of the people he said. The Congress never bothered to stop the corruption he stated.
