Prime Minister Narendra Modi today opened the country’s longest railroad bridge in Dibrugarh of Assam district. It is called as the Bogibeel bridge. It is on Christmas and the birthday of Atal Bihari Vajpayee the former Prime Minister, that Modi has launched the bridge for the usage of the public. The work started in 2002.

PM Modi reached Dibrugarh in the noon and flow to Bogibeel for launching the railroad bridge. It is a double-decker bridge with a stretch of about 5 kilometres.The PM walked a few stretches and waived to the people after launching the bridge. Assam Governor and CM accompanied him.
