PM Narendra Modi is a shrewd politician. He will take criticism but will not entertain the chamchagiri. When you see the result of NITI Ayog meet, the Prime Minister just acted on the merits of the case and never bothered to react at the people who were trying to lure him with a vested interest in mind.
When you come to the Telugu states in precise he talked to KCR for about an hour in the beginning and then he heard him at the NITI Ayog, but did not show any result or indication for him. TRS was asking for the post of Deputy Chairman of the parliament for K keshava Rao. KCR tried hard and lobbied for the post. But the BJP said no to TRS and instead has offered the same post to ShivSena.
Sena has been bashing BJP and also said that they will not have any alliance with the BJP in the coming elections. Chandrababu the AP CM bashed up Modi like anything on Special status. But Modi praised Babu for doing the best job in terms of power generation and also distribution in AP. He is acting on some issues raised by Chandrababu at NITI meet.
People have come to a conclusion that BJP and TRS are hand in glove. TRS gave a memorandum with about 10 points with the major issue being the defence lands for Secretariat. The decision will come soon.
The body language of Babu at NITI meet looked as if he was trying to convey Modi that he is with him, but not in open. It could be like the back door or outside support. TRS chief, on one hand, raised the anti-BJP and Congress bogey and wants to develop a new India. He said both Congress and BJP failed in fulfilling the aspirations of the people.
Now taking all this into serious consideration, Modi will come up with his future strategy for the Telugu states.
The BJP is looking at some MP seats from AP and Telangana. They will leave the Assembly seats to TDP and TRS. That will be the strategy and understanding.
