The BJP wants to depend on the Hindu votes to take on the AIMIM.

“If the Prime Minister gives a green signal for his contest from Telangana, the BJP will swing into action to prepare the ground for his victory,” Bandi Sanjay the BJP Chief is supposed to lead the party to the elections.

There was a talk that Modi might contest from Tamil Nadu, but after watching the DMK growing stronger, the BJP doesn’t want to take any risk.

In Telangana, the situation is conducive to the BJP, and hence, Modi might give preference to this state,. That is the reason Miniter for Home Amit Shah has also been looking at Telangana.

Now that the TDP is also looking at Telangana, the BJP-TDP combine might have a good edge over the ruling party.
