Today, when I left Delhi in the morning, there was a wonderful coincidence. Before the commencement of the Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav, amrut rain took place in the country’s capital and Varun Dev also gave blessings,” PM Modi stated in his address.
Modi mentioned five pillars — Freedom Struggle, Ideas at 75, Achievements at 75, Actions and Resolves at 75 — that will inspire the country to move forward.
He was speaking at the Sabarmati Ashram after launch the Amrut Mahotsav here.Modi said the 75th-anniversary celebrations will continue till 15 August 2022.
“By coming to the Sabarmati Ashram and with the inspiration of Bapu, my determination for nation-building is strengthened,” the prime minister wrote.
Azadi Ka Amrut Mohatsav is a tribute by our people to our freedom fighters and freedom movement.
During the celebrations the country will not only remember all the important milestones, important times during the freedom movement but also gain new energy for the development of our future, Modi stated.
The Utsav has been going on in different states with the respective Chief Ministers and Governors hoisting the National Flag. The states will also remember Independence day in different forms for the next 75 weeks.
