PM Modi expressed his satisfaction that miners came out without any issue. He complimented all the officers who rescued miners.
“It is a matter of great satisfaction that these friends of ours will meet their dear ones after a long wait,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, asserting that the patience and courage of their family members cannot be praised enough.
Later, in a post on X, Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) IT department head Amit Malviya took a swipe at the opposition and said, “Just so that the Opposition ecosystem further stews in their bile, let it be known that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the head of the National Disaster Management Authority, which oversaw the arduous Silkyara rescue operation.”
Modi is the man who deserves all the credit for the successful rescue operation, he added.
The rescue workers on Tuesday evening pulled out all the 41 workers who got trapped after a portion of the Silkyara tunnel, part of the Centre’s ambitious Char Dham project, collapsed due to a landslide on November 12.
