The police had a review meeting for the bundobust for the coming MLC elections.
• In this meeting mainly discussed the Biennial election to the Telangana Legislative Council from Mahabubnagar – Ranga Reddy – Hyderabad Teachers Constituency scheduled to be held on 13.03.2023 (Monday).
• (03) Routes in Medchal – Malkajgiri, (09) Routes in Ranga Reddy total (12)
and (13) polling stations in (13) locations in Ranga Reddy and (7) Polling stations in (5) Locations in Medchal-Malkajgiri Districts are identified
• SHOs of Cyberabad concerned have been directed to visit the polling stations/ polling areas in their respective jurisdiction and prepare the Bandobust scheme for providing security at polling stations by involving the departments concerned. They have also been directed to provide security at the polling stations as per the Bandobust scheme on 13.03.2023 and see that no untoward incident is reported and also provide additional Bandobust arrangements depending on the local situation.
• Further, they have been directed to keep a close watch on the trouble mongers (who are likely to create problems) during the process of electioneering and take them into custody as a preventative measure prior to the commencement of polling.
• (21) candidates are in the fray, they are being provided security till the conclusion of the electioneering process and also provided security to the other public representative who is visiting the polling stations as per their scale of security.
• The team’s Viz., Modal code of conduct, flying squad, and statistical surveillance have been set up for smooth conduct of the elections in the Cyberabad limits.
• All preventative measures are in place for the smooth conduct of the elections.
