Mukesh Ambani is a rich businessman, there is no doubt about it. But there is no protocol to be followed as such for him. But the other day Mukesh Ambani was in Tirumala where the lawmakers and the officials were seen almost kneeling before him.
The District Collector and Police received him at the Airport. Vijay Sai Reddy and Chevi Reddy Bhaskar Reddy accompanied him to Tirumala. He was given a ceremonial reception and had a very good darshan.
Ambani is a big donor to the Temple, that way you can respect him, but not in the rich category aspect. After being welcomed by the Deputy CM, MPs and MLAs at the airport, it was the turn of TTD officials. TTD officials ensured that the Ambani family had a great darshan of Lord Balaji.
People say money speaks on the TTD and that is true. The poor and middle class have all the trouble and with great difficulty, they get the Darshan.
Even there is a difference in the treatment with the recommendation letters also. The letter from Andhra has a good scope of getting darshan while the letters from Telangana don’t get the same importance.
Even the people with letters are made to run from Pillar to post for the sake of accommodation. It will be good if the TTD can give the darshan ticket on the spot after presenting the letter so that the pilgrims do need not wait for the message at night.
