Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has made the local MLAs responsible for winning the GHMC election. The target is 100 seats again. Last time they could get around 100 seats as targetted.
KCR has been reviewing the elections for the last two days and suggested some Ministers that they must work for the welfare of the people in General.
He did not mention the Duubaka debacle directly but hinted at the same. The sops announced in the name of property tax relief is expected to garner some votes for the coming Municipal elections.
Reducing 50 percent of the tax is a big boon to the residents. KCR and KTR were seen mingling with the Ministers and also the media. KTR was seen sitting in the company Home Minister Mahmood Ali and Srinivas Yadav during a press meet.
Losing one seat to BJP in the name of Dubbaka has made all the difference. But KCR is a lone fighter who is used to this kind of ups and downs in politics.
The BJP is hellbent on pulling down the TRS to the maximum possible. Raghunandan the MLA from Dubbaka is all set to be the star campaigner for the municipal elections.
Bandi Sanjay the BJP chief, Aravind the MP from Nizamabad along with Rajasingh will campaign extensively in the city and also outskirts. Kishan Reddy will however address some meeting depending on his time.
Will KCR campaign for the elections this time is the big question. KTR and Srinivas Yadav said that they will take care of the elections. But KCR has warned them that we cannot take the BJP for granted this time.
