Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states have jointly decided to release water to the farmers in both the States by lifting Nagarjuna Sagar Left and Right Canal gates.
Accordingly, on Sunday, at Nagarjuna Sagar, Telangana state Education Minister Sri G Jagadesh Reddy, AP State Irrigation Minister Sri Anilkumar Yadav jointly will lift left and Right gates and release the water. Later, Jagadesh Reddy will release water through LLC and AMR canals. Sri Jagadesh Reddy has invited the Nalgonda district MPs, MLAs and MLCs to participate in this programme.
It may be noted that both the CMs Jagan and KCR have decided to share waters for the welfare of the two states. Jagan was all praise for KCR that he agreed to release the Telangana water for Srisilam project.
In this format both the states would come to the rescue of each other for the welfare of the farming community in the Telugu states.
