This has been going on for a long time. Mafia money was also involved in movie-making in Bollywood. The IT officers raided the office of MMM and asked them for details on the investment in the movie Pushpa one and two of Allu Arjun.
This is the second time that the IT sleuths have raided the office of MMM. The first part of Pushpa made huge profits and the IT wanted details on this account.
There is also a talk that the movie Liger also had the investments of Politicians. The IT search is going on in the MMM office. The MMM are making more than half a dozen movies and they have got huge hits in recent times.
Some film heroes were also raided earlier. Bandla Ganesh one of the producers was branded as the benami of Minister Botsa Satyanarayana. The IT department is trying to find out the nexus between Politicians and producers in Tollywood, especially in the name of MMM.
MMM are close of the family members of Chiranjeevi. MMM representatives said that the matter will get resolved and there was nothing illegal about it.
Getting finances from outsiders is common and there could be some political leaders who have invested in the movies. That is purely business and nothing illegal about it.
