Popular mimicry artist Neralla Venumhav died in Warangal today. He is very popular in Telugu states and across the world for his mimicry. He is 85 and died due to health issues.
He was born in 1932 and was an MLC also. Venu Madhav started his career in 1947. He was awarded Padma Shri in 2001. He was well versed with Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, English and Urdu. Big and renowned writers have written books on Venumadhav. Venu Madhav acted in more than dozen movies and also acted in street plays. He was very popular with the politicians of his generations. He has trained many mimicry artists also.
The funeral of Venumadhav will be done with state honours the state government has decided. CM K Chandrasekhar Rao has expressed his sympathy and condolences to the family of Venu Madhav and said that the state and the country has lost a great mimicry artist who has fame and name across the world. The auditorium in public garden of Hanumakonda was named after Venumadhav.
