Leaders of the Opposition will be meeting this evening in Mumbai under the leadership of Sharad Pawar and Prashant Kishore.
Prashant Kishore the poll strategist is stitching an alliance of around 15 political parties against the BJP. A meeting of these parties has been called by Prashant and the senior politician Sharad Pawar.
The meeting will be held this evening it is reported. The idea is to project Rahul Gandhi as the next Prime Minister.
The third front is taking birth at the residence of Maratha leader Sharad Pawar. The front will start working from the coming Assembly polls in UP. Senior politician Yashwant will also come for the meet.
The regional parties have shown that they could stop the BJP juggernaut but putting them all on one stage is a mammoth task that has remained unaccomplished so far.
It has to be seen if the Telugu Chief Ministers KCR and Jagan would join the bandwagon or will they sail with Modi.

It is reported that Chandrababu Naidu will join the gang of Opposition led by Prashant Kishore and Pawar.
Unless and until the opposition fights unitedly there is no question of winning against the mighty Modi and BJP. Earlier KCR the Telangana CM tried to launch a Federal Front against the BJP. But he failed miserably and the BJP has won with a thumping majority.
Now we have to see if KCR would join the Sharad Pawar Group. Jaganmohan Reddy the AP CM will for forced to be with the BJP as he’s involved in the ED cases and is on bail.
Chandrababu the former Chief Minister is already with Prashant Kishore and he will go against Modi. This is to win against Jagan in the coming elections.
