AR Rahman the music icon of India was in Hyderabad for the promotion of Nawab directed by Mani Ratnam. There were some press briefings and promotions during the function. One of the scribes asked Rahman as when would he give music in Telugu directly for a movie. Meaning not for the dubbed ones. Rahman said that various factors would go into this and he would really love to do that if everything falls in line.
Then the other reporter asked about the Syeraa music. Earlier Rahman was roped in for Syeraa, but later Rahman has dropped it due to the reasons known to producer Charan and the music director Rahman.
Rahman just evaded questions on Syeraa and suggested that the reporters should confine to Nawab and he has nothing to say about Syeraa. Now the Syeraa team is going for the other music director in place of Rahman it is reported.
Talking about the work with Mani Ratnam, Rahman said that they have a special bonding and they understand each other very well. Rahman who was a jingle composer was given a break by Mani Ratnam for his film Roja. After that, he never looked back.
Now the music for Nawab has come up very well said Rahman. He is confident that it will make an impact with the Telugu audience.
