There are chances that it could be Mayawathi or Mamatha for the Prime Ministers post in the Coming elections for 2019. While most of the surveys have predicted that the BJP image took a beating after the Karnataka elections, but there is scope that the Modi Government will scrape through and form the Government in 2019.
But the way Sonia hugged Maya at the Karnataka oath taking ceremony looks like that the Congress might join the forces with Maya and Akhilesh and project her as the PM candidate.
On the other side, KCR and others are trying to project Mamatha as the PM candidate and that front may not have congress in the fold. But Mamatha is for the Congress and she wants others to join with the Congress to fight with the BJP. On the whole, it looks like that the combined opposition might more or less project Maya or Mamatha for the post of Prime Minister to consolidate Dalit vote bank against the BJP.
The experiment at Karnataka worked and then the Maya and Akhilesh combine at UP worked against Yogi. All others say that the BJP and Modi government has failed miserably. So if Maya, Mamatha, Akhilesh, babu, Tejeswar and others along with Congress can form a front against the BJP, then there are chances that the BJP might lose in the next elections.
It has to be seen who far this combination can be worked out.
