‘Sarkar 3’ will see Amitabh Bachchan play the protagonist but Abhishek and Aishwarya, who were seen in the earlier films, will not be a part of this film.Ace director RGV clarified on this.
Varma had stated that Bachchan will be getting back to his ‘angry young man’ avatar for the film.Ram Gopal Varma’s critically acclaimed ‘Satya’ turned out to be the turning point in the career of Manoj Bajpayee as he gained popularity for his role at that time.
The actor-director duo worked again in the film ‘Kaun’ and also in films like ‘Shool’ and ‘Road’ where Varma was the producer. However, the benchmark set with ‘Satya’ could not be replicated in the subsequent films.
Moreover, the duo did not work with each other after these films and after 14 years, that is set to change. Varma and Bajpayee are all set to come together again in the third installment of the former’s popular franchise ‘Sarkar’.
“Manoj owes his career to Varma for giving him his big break in Satya. So, when the filmmaker called him up toOFFER ‘Sarkar 3’, he could not say no to him,” a source was quoted as saying to media.
Even before the shooting resumed there is a lot of talk about this film. Ramu is giving the news in a phased manner in installments. He is known for it. By the time the film is ready for release he will get tonnes of publicity. There is no doubt about this.
The producers are already ready for the movie as it is having Big B in the lead that too with a known theme.
