Local Sarpanches, Corporators and Councillors were invited to the Praja Palana programme and the steps will also be taken to ensure the participation of all other public representatives. Each application received in these Gram Sabhas will be uploaded on the computers and a unique number will be issued to every applicant to address the grievance separately.
Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka along with other ministers, Secretaries of various departments and officials concerned will participate in the collectors & SPs conference. The conference will be held from 10 am to 1 pm on Sunday.
Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy convened the first district Collectors & SPs Conference on Sunday in Dr B. R. Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat.
The Chief Minister will give specific directions to the officials on the implementation of the Six Guarantees in 100 days and reach the governance at the village level along with curbing the errors committed by the previous government.
CM Revanth Reddy led state government already accorded top priority to addressing the people’s grievances and organized ‘Prajavani’ at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Praja Bhavan on every Tuesday and Friday. The Chief minister will announce an action plan to organize Prajavani programmes at the District, Mandal and Village level in a well organized manner. In addition to this, the Collectors will be given clear instructions on the implementation of the six guarantees which have been announced to ensure social justice through economic empowerment.
The “Praja Palana “ ( people’s governance) is being taken up to further improve the performance of the government and to make it accountable to take the governance mechanism to the village level and distribute the fruits of the good governance to the poor and marginalized sections.
Additional collectors of Local Bodies are also invited to the meeting. The ‘Praja Palana Grama Sabhas’ are being organized from 8 am to 12 noon and from 2 pm to 6 pm from December 28 to January 6, 2024 ( a total of 8 working days excluding holidays) . The official teams will visit all the Gram Panchayats and Municipal Wards at the rate of two per day.
