Minister Malla Reddy is under severe stress as the IT raids continued in his house and relatives’ houses. His son is admitted to the hospital for mild chest pain.
Fifty teams with two hundred officers are searching the accounts of Malla Reddy. Malla Reddy said that he was harassed for being a Minister in the KCR cabinet belonging to the TRS party.
This is nothing but political vendetta he opined. The IT people are looking into three hundred accounts related to the Minister. The IT people approached Mallareddy in the name of selling lands and also the development of the lands.
But Malla Reddy refused to buy the lands and sent them away. Malla Reddy’s son is admitted to a hospital in Suraram and he is doing well now. Malla Reddy charged that his son was beaten up by the IT officers in the night.
The IT searches are going in the colleges of Malla Reddy also.
My son is scared and shivering said Malla Reddy. Malla Reddy said that he was ready to forego his properties and does not want to face this harassment by the Government.
The TRS workers and wellwishers of Mallareddy have staged a dharna against the central Government and burnt the effigy of PM Modi. The IT raids are going on with BSF security.
KCR the CM on the other hand has addressed a meeting of the lawmakers here at Pragathi Bhavan over the present situation. It has to be seen how Mallareddy would wriggle out of the situation.
