A nineteen-year-old student has reportedly been raped in the campus of the Banaras Hindu University two weeks ago.
The student Avinash, went to the Microbiology Department of Sri Sunderlal Hospital in the university campus to collect some medical reports pertaining to his sister-in-law who was then admitted in the hospital, when he was stopped on the way by five men.
In his complaint to the police, the first year MA Hindi student alleged that he was forced to drink liquor and raged into a car stationed nearby, which carried a department logo of the university.
The five men reportedly took turns raping Animesh in the moving car, and after the ordeal, he was dumped in the open grounds close to the agricultural department in the university.
After being thrown out of the car, Animesh reportedly called 100 immediately, but the police reportedly took four days to reach him.
