The State Government has hired landscape designers for the state Secretariat which is under construction. The Lumbini park and the NTR Ghat are getting a facelift with the help of prominent landscape designers.
The spaces around the secretariat including the Necklace road will be redesigned on par with the newly constructed Secretariat. Ambedkar Statue is being installed in the space of NTR Ghat.
There is a talk that the NTR Ghat will be renamed as NTR-Ambedkar part. The Lumbini park will also be renamed Martyrs memorial park. The Jyoti is under construction and will be completed soon.
It was under construction for a long time. The State Secretariat and the areas around this along with the Tankbund and Necklace Road will be beatified as a prominent tourist spot.
Chief Minister KCR has been supervising the construction of the Secretariat from the beginning. He has visited the area several times. Mandir, Masjid and Church are being constructed in the Secretariat. There is a demand for Gurudwara also here at the state Secretariat.
