Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has cautioned the engineers and other officials to monitor the inflow and outflow of the waters of barrages under Kaleshwaram properly. With inflows reaching at alarming levels the Chief Minister cautioned the concerned officials to be alert in this regard.
The water has to be monitored and if it exceeds the levels the water has to be let out on time. Apart from the inflows from the other states, the local rainwater is also accumulating in the barrages. The water at the Medigadda barrage can be seen across 150 kilometres and the Chief Minister who is an architect and main brain behind the project was elated.
It was raining when the CM was approaching the barrage and it stopped when he was assessing the flow of waters. later when he left the Medigadda it rained heavily at the barrage. When the CM was on the barrage it was drizzling.
The CM was happy to see the flow of water to a vast extent and here he performed Pooja to the Godavari waters and dropped some coins into the waters. he was happy that as predicted the barrages were full and the water has to be stored for the irrigation purposes and also drinking purposes to some extent.
MP Santosh Kumar. Minister Etela Rajender and the officials from the CMO accompanied the chief Minister here to the Medigadda barrage. Some of the local representatives also met his and expressed their happiness over the water inflow into the projects.
