Chief Minister Sri K Chandrashekhar Rao said that the path shown by Father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi that by demonstrating peace and patience, one can achieve any aim in a democratic way and it is still ideal even today.
The CM paid rich tributes to Mahatma Gandhi on his death anniversary. He said the way Mahatma achieved freedom for our country through the weapons of Truth and non-violence is a great inspiration.
The CM said the peaceful means of Mahatma Gandhi were imbibed in the way separate statehood for Telangana was achieved.
The Telangana state is following the Mahatma Gandhi-ji’s teachings of peace, brotherhood and
secularism and marching towards progress, the CM said.
