Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and his wife have performed Mahasankalpa Yadam inviting the rain god here at the Medigadda.
KCR reached Medigadda by chopper at about 9.30 and yagam continued for about one and half hours. MP Joginapally Santosh Kumar assisted the Chief Minister with the logistics.
AP Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy arrived at about 10 am and he was received by the CM KCR here for the yagam at the Medigadda. The Chief Minister and his wife performed the Yagnam with all patience. Floral decorations done at the Yagam site attracted the guests.
The project area was decorated very well and a festival like atmosphere was seen here.
On the other hand, it is the death Anniversary of Jayashankhar sir, the project was being unveiled by the Chief Minister and other guests.
At the same time celebrations were done at the TRS party office also here at the Banjarahills.
Sudarshan Homam was performed at Yadadri on the eve of launching the Kaleshwaram. Governor Narasimhan reached Medigadda after performing Yoga here at Rajbhavan on the eve of Yoga International day.
KTR the TRS working President expressed his happiness that the launch of Kaleshwaram was being done on the death anniversary day of Professor Jayashankar. Governor Narasimhan and Maharashtra CM Fadnavis were greeted by CM at Medigadda here.
