Prime Minister Modi has received UNs Champions of the Earth Award and French President Macron has also got the award from UN. This is for saving the environment in a big way with interventions like solar power and other things.

But the Rafale deal came into focus at the UN and the so-called prestigious award was buried in the process. French President Macron clarified that the Indian Prime Minister Modi was right and that it was a government to government transaction. It was like a people to people agreement and there was nothing to talk about it in detail. It is a deal as part of a broader framework the French president said.

We have a strong partnership regarding defence and it is a people to people and government to government agreement the French President clarified. What Modi said a few days ago is right and it is a military and defence agreement with strategic coalition he stated.

But earlier the former French leader claimed that it was India which proposed the name of Reliance for this Rafale deal and Rahul Gandhi called PM Modi as a thief in this context.

French President made this announcement on the sidelines of the UN awards meet. But earlier Macron said that he was not in power when the agreement was signed and now came back in defence of the deal with India. It is a coalition for the welfare of our society.

When it comes to Rafales the latest was from Robert Vadra the husband of Priyanka Gandhi, saying that PM Narendra Modi must answer the Nation.
