LPG cylinder explodes again -Rs 825

The Petrol rates are rising by the day and today the centre has hiked the rates of LPG cylinders. The domestic cylinder rate has been hiked by Rs 25 to Rs 50 and the commercial cylinder rate has been raised by around Rs 200.

The petrol rates are hovering around Rs 92 per litre and may reach Rs 100 per litre soon. The government has decided to raise the price of LPG cylinders again.

The revised rates are being implemented with immediate effect. After the present hike, a non-subsidised 14.2 kg (cooking gas) cylinder will cost Rs 825 in General.

The government has also raised the prices of commercial cylinders (non-subsidised 19 kg). You will need to pay Rs 1,600 for a single commercial cylinder in Delhi after a Rs 200 increase.

In Mumbai, you will need to shell out around Rs1600 for one commercial cylinder and Rs 1,598.50 in Kolkata respectively. The price of a single commercial cylinder has been hiked by around Rs 200 in Chennai and costs Rs 1,800.
