Dil Raju has succeeded to some extent in bringing back the audience to the theatres. Reducing ticket rates has paid rich dividends to the industry.
The rise in ticket rates in the name of the first ten days should be done away with now. In one way the AP Government was right in reducing the ticket rates to a larger extent.
Now Allu Aravind is also of the opinion that the ticket rates should be under 150 irrespective of the class and the theatre. The next movie in the name of Pakka commercial will be released with the minimum rates it is reported.
Here it is the Irani Chai concept where they sell more cups at an affordable rate. The movie Major and Vikram did well at the box office with reasonable ticket rates.
They must also forget about the so-called Flexi rates. The number of theatres must also be reduced so that less number of theatres will show a large number of cine-goers.
Instead of going for two thousand screens and setting records for a few days, they can go for half the number of theatres and see that the movie runs for a few more days.
Instead of ten days, the movie will run for twenty days in half the theatres. So Dil Raju and Allu Aravind must come together and take the right decision on ticket pricing and it should continue for a longer time.
