There will a blood moon which will be visible on 27nth and 28th of next month. It is due to the longest lunar eclipse of the 21st century. It will be called the blood moon because during the celestial event the sun scatters through the planet’s atmosphere.
This celestial event and the longest will be there for nearly 4 hours it is reported. The previous blood moon that appeared in January lasted for just 45 minutes.
The eclipse will be directly visible in many parts of Europe and its surrounding regions. It can be watched online also.
Scientists are coming together to watch this event in a big way. Some experiments are also being planned for the same.
In some other parts of the world, some rituals are observed. In India, during the Lunar and Solar eclipse, special baths in the river are taken and poojas are performed in the name of graha Shanthi.
