Walking from one end to other in the state secretariat is a big problem. Employees also need to walk the long corridors if they have to reach the other chambers of the Ministers.
There should be cycles or two wheels with power to commute inside the premises. E-cycles or E- bikes will be good so that the employees can reach from one end to the other.
It is a long walk for the lady employees. But ti can become a good exercise in the long run.Confusion prevailed on Day 1 among officials and staff on entering the Secretariat. They had a tough time locating their office rooms in the six floors.
The Secretariat has main gates in four directions — northwest, northeast, southeast and east. The officials, staff and visitors were seen shuttling between different gates with security personnel denying them entry and asking them to use the other gates.
The Chief Minister entered through the east gate and first reached the Yagashala where Sudharshana Yagam was performed on Sunday. He participated in the special puja before entering his chambers on the sixth floor.
KCR also visited the offices of his secretaries, additional secretaries and public relations officers on the sixth floor and inquired about the arrangements made in their chambers.
He walked through the corridors and discussed various issues with the officials. Later, the Chief Minister returned to his chambers and held a meeting with public representatives, who came to meet him.
