The fuel rates have been hiked for more than 15 times this month. In Hyderabad, Petrol is costing around Rs 100 per litre. In Vijaywada of Andhra Pradesh the petrol is costing 100.21 per litre

The rates of fuel are going up on a daily basis and the lockdown is going on, as usual with no proper employment to the common man.

The Telangana Government has exempted the petrol bunks from the Lockdown. It looks like the state and central government are making money by hiking the fuel rates on a daily basis.

Liquor on one side and petrol, diesel on the other side now have become main source of income for the State and central Governments.

Petrol and diesel prices hit record highs across the country after rates were increased for the sixth time in a week, following which Maharashtra joined Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh in the league of states where petrol rates breached the Rs 100-a-litre mark.

Petrol in Parbhani was priced at Rs 100.20 a litre, while in Bhopal it is at Rs 99.55 a litre.

Petrol price was hiked by 26 paise a litre and diesel by 33 paise per litre, according to a price notification by state-owned fuel retailers.

This was the 15nth increase in prices since May 4, when the state-owned oil firms.This is the fourth time this year since February that rates in some parts have crossed the Rs 100-a litre mark.
