Liquor rates up by 75%

The liquor rates in Andhra Pradesh have gone up by 75 per cent. Yesterday they were raised by 25 per cent for the first time and later today they have raised it by another 50 per cent resulting in 75 per cent hike.

But the people are coming big numbers for purchasing the liquor. The Jagan Government is drawing flak from all the quarters for opening he liquor shops and also for rising he prices n the other hand.

The officers from the AP Government today said that the prices have been raised so that the people will not be in position to buy the liquor. People coming for buying the liquor are breaking the lockdown rules and regulations. They are also avoiding the quarantine to get some liquor.

Some people are reselling liquor bought from the shops.

Some of them from the opposition have opined that the YSRC Government has taken a wrong decision by opening he liquor shops. Jagan he CM came to power by promising he ban on liquor in a phased manner.

But the situation is completely different. They want to make money by selling he liquor.
