Liger could not make any proper impact on the audience. It is old wine in an old bottle. Puri failed in this direction. Vijay did what the director wanted.
The stammering experiment failed miserably and people did not connect to it. The leading lady is no actor at all and she is not even ornamental. As described by Vijay Devarakonda it is a just mental movie.
It is all predictable and the music is good in bits and pieces. One can avoid this movie easily. Now we know why Mahesh is avoiding Puri Jagannath all the time.
Will, there be any takes for the coming Movie Jana Gana Mana is the question. It is better for Vijay to move away from Karan Johar who is not directing movies these days.

It is the star presence. Liger is the first ‘larger-than-life’ star turn for Vijay Deverakonda. It is what Puri Jagannadh brings to the table and shows us a glimpse of VD’s potential. A better subject selection is the need of the day to create a bigger impact.
In fact Bijay has chosen the right director, but the wrong subject is presented in an old fashion. It is better if Vijay can take the help of a senior director who is outdated and then scan the stories coming for him.
