Puri Jagannath is surprised with the way people have been predicting that Liger is a rehash of his movie Amma Nanna Tamil Ammai. Amma Nanna movie has kickboxing bouts in the movie where Prakash Raj is the coach.
But Puri clarified that it is a fresh movie. The trailer is a hit and also the promotion events were liked by the audience. ISmart Shankar was a hit movie given by Puri and before that, it was Temper with NTR.
Temper was a blockbuster. Now puri was there for more than two years in Mumbai for Liger with Karan Johar for Dharma Productions. Mike Tyson the world-renowned boxer was also included in the movie.
We have to see how far the people will like it. The trailer has received a good response and we have to see how far the people will encourage the movie. It is being released on a Pan India level.
Both Puri and also Vijay Devarakonda are banking on the movie. Vijay is also craving a hit. He is also working on another movie with Puri called Jana Gana Mana under the production of Karan Johar.
Vijay has got paid to the extent of a hundred crore from Dharma productions for three movies. One movie is completed, the other is in the pipeline and the third one has to be finalised.
