TRS MP Santosh Kumar appealed to the people of Telangana and also others that we should light the lamps for the unity of the country against the Covid19.
It may e recalled that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his video address has given a call to the people of the country to light the lamps or candles at 9 pm on Sunday night for 9 minutes to express solidarity in fighting against the Corona Virus.
Following this K Chandrasekhar Rao the Chief Minister of Telangana has also given a call to the people of the state and also others to light the lamps in solidarity against the Corona Virus.
The electricity department of Telangana has stated that there si no issue to the grid and that people can switch off the lights. There was a talk that the grid would trip off if entire India shuts down the lights.
Then there was a clarity that we must put off the lights only and light diyas or candles to show or express the solidarity. People are already gearing up for the event.
