India made a tremendous comeback to level the ongoing series against Australia a Bangalore. But DRS review issues disturbed everything when Indian captain Kohli said that Smith took the help from dressing room on minimum three occasions before deciding on some reviews. While the Australian cricket chief James Sutherland said they were only allegations to tarnish the image of the captain, the BCCI, after deliberation and watching the video replays of the issue, strongly stood with the Indian cricket team and its captain Virat Kohli.

Well it is good for the game of cricket that ICC will not be taking any action against either Australian captain Steve Smith or Indian skipper Virat Kohli. Having reached out to both the boards, the chief executive of ICC David Richardson mentioned that the issue will not be taken further.

With the third Test beginning at Ranchi next week, the emotions are high now. It has been a ding-dong battle so far – Australia routing the hosts in the first Test at Pune and then losing badly in the second one at Bengalore.

We have seen good game of cricket and both Kohli and Smith are role models to the present generation of cricketers and let us hope they will forget the issue saying, `let bygones be bygones. Cricket is a gentleman’s game and let the reputation of the game be maintained as it has a rich history.

The third Test between the two teams will get under way in Ranchi on March 16.
