So many dream to become Sachin’s and Laxman’s these days. And we all know that such cricketers are born once in life time. But some despite having good talent don’t get sporting atmosphere to reach a certain level they aim at. And here is some good news to the City’s aspiring young cricketers as India’s one of the most attractive batsmen –very very special VVS Laxman will be coming up with yet another academy to nurture the budding talent.
This is going to be the second one which will be opened at Delhi Pubic School, Nacharam next month with a summer camp. Talking to the media in a press conference held at Laxman’s 1st innings school premises, the elegant cricketer who enthralled so many during his playing days with his fabulous strokeplay said, “Cricket has given me everything and I have been trying my best since I retired to pass on my passion of the game to as many as I can.
Our first academy at Srinidhi School was a great success. And now the idea to start another academy at Delhi Public school is to facilitate the young ones who live near by. We all know a lot of time is wasted to beat the heavy traffics these days. The school itself has more than six thousand students and the good thing is, they encourage sports, which we thought was a plus point.
Mr Komaraiah, an educationist and Mrs Sudha the director of the school who are present here today, have been pretty supportive. In fact we are going to come up with three more in future so that players of different parts of the city enjoy the benefits of having the acadamies near by their places. I am sure it will have huge influence as we are going to provide them with the best facilities. The seasoned coaches will assist them to horn their skills.
We will do our best to inspire the young cricketers in every possible way so that they can develop nonstop passion for the game. The qualified coaches will take each and every care of the youngones and whenever I am available I will share my experiences to inspire them. And I strongly believe that the budding talent will love the atmosphere at Delhi Public school.”
Let’s hope the aspiring young cricketers will have the best positive learning environment for developing cricketing skills at Delhi Public School.
