The atmosphere in Telangana looks as if elections are coming in the near future. MIM leaders Asaduddin and Akbaruddin Owaisi have started campaigning and walking in old city. People say that the CM K Chandrasekhar Rao has informally told the MIM leaders to get ready for the polls.
This election will be fought on caste basis and the candidates will be selected on caste basis, both by the TRS and also the BJP. Both the parties have started meeting the leaders and cadres on the caste lines. The TRS government is making allocations for the development of people on caste lines .
All the political parties are in the election mode. The BJP has started working out for the coming Polls by luring leaders from the other political parties. After UP they want to win the Telangana state. The Congress is also going around the states. Jana Sena on the other hand has tied up with Gaddar the revolutionary singer for Telangana. It is reported that communists will also join Jana Sena for the next elections.
There are reports that the BJP is trying to poach the disgruntled elements from the TRS. By December 2017 it is likely that the CM KCR will dissolve the Assembly and the elections for the Telangana Assembly could be in April 2018. That means after exactly one year the polls will be held. That is the reason TRS leaders have started working out in the election mode. The friendly party MIM is also following the TRS.
The TRS may put the responsibility on K Taraka Rama Rao, the BJP and the Congress will also change the leaders for the coming elections. Pawan will focus Gaddar. Professor Kodandaram who was instrumental in fighting for Telangana might also align with some party or the other and then fight against the TRS. There is every chance the entire opposition might gang up against the TRS for trouncing the TRS at the elections.
The argument of Rahul Gandhi the Congress VP is that when they won the Punjab elections where Sardarjis are the deciding factor , they can win in any state for that matter. Generally Sardars are against the congress as they were killed after Indiragandhis assassination.
All said and done this will be an interesting election.
