D. Krishna Bhaskar, CMD/TGTRANSCO received National Award of “LDC Excellence Award” from Sri Ghan Shyam Prasad, Chairperson,Central Electricity Authority (CEA) and Sri Narsimhan, CMD, Grid India (National Load Dispatch Centre) at high level National Power System Conference at IIT, Indore, Madhya Pradesh on December 14, 2024. On this occasion, Sri Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu Garu, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister congratulated Telangana Power Utilities for clinching the prestigious national award amidst severe competition from other states.
It is due recognition of excellence operation of power system in maintaining the grid in a safe and secure manner with utmost grid discipline. It is a well-deserved honour to Telangana State, HDCM added.
Further, Sri Sandeep Kumar Sultania, Principal Secretary, Energy Department appreciated the concerted efforts of TGTRANSCO,TGGENCO, TGSPDLC & TGNPDCL.
It is pertinent to note that, Telangana State Load Dispatch Centre,TGTRANSCO has been declared by Grid India (National Load Dispatch Centre) and Forum of Load Dispatchers (FOLD) as the winner of prestigious National Award of “LDC Excellence Award-2024” in a nation-level competition.
Telangana SLDC has stood as ‘Best LDC’ in the category of Large SLDCs such as Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka,Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu,Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal etc.
