Law and order has improved in Telangana

The crime rate has come down and that the law and order have improved considerably in the state of Telangana said DGP Mahendar Reddy. He was briefing the media giving a round-up of the year 2018. The DGP said that there was friendly policing being implemented in the state, but it has to reach all the districts he said. The police will be taken task if they do not implement the friendly policing policy he explained. When compared to earlier times this year the Ganesh Nimajjan was more peaceful and there were no cases reported at all he said. The operation smile and muskan are giving good results he stated.

The murders have come down by four precent. The property disputes have come down by 8 percent. Chain snatchings have come down by 43 percent. The crime against women has come down by 8 percent. The cyber crimes have also reduced by 3 percent. Overall the crime rate has come down by 5 percent. The DGP said that the installation of CC cameras has helped in the detection of crime to a larger extent. Now it has become very easy for the police to resolve the crimes with the help of CC footage. More than 10 lakh new vehicles have come on to the roads in 2018 which means that the Traffic issues have gone up considerably. The police have received 8 lakh phone calls on various issues in this year. Technology is being used in solving the crimes from time to time.
