People know about Lagadapati Raj Gopal the former MP from congress and his antics in the parliament with his pepper spray. Lagadapati as promised took sanyas to politics as he lost his election earlier. He was also against the division of the AP state. He also has firm which does political surveys and surveys for the elections which is popular as opinion polls. Most of the time Rajgopals surveys have become right and there is some kind of credibility .
Now the latest survey from Rajgopal is that if elections are conducted in AP immediately YSRC is going towin and Jagan is going to be the CM. This news has created sensation in the political circles and also Vijayawada. People were puzzled to note that while the leaders from YSRC are joining the TDP day in and day out, here is a survey from Rajgopal saying that Jagan will come to power.
But one cannot rule out overnight changes in politics. There is also an intelligence report that Lagadpati has met Jagan in his house and discussed about politics. Politics pandits say, Rajgopal might join Jagans YSRC in the near future. But he may contest or may not contest. At least not as an MP as the popular producer Potluri Prasad is likely to contest from the place where Rajgopal is popular.
So for the time being Rajgopal is looking at YSRC and he is interest to be an MLA angling for the assembly along with Jagan. It looks like Rajgopal wants to be a king maker in 2019. There is a rumor in the TDP that YSRC chief Jagan might put Rajgopal against Devineni Uma it is learnt. Jagan is already having a blue print in case there could be a snap poll by Chandrababu to reduce the anti incumbancy in the AP.
But there are also politicians that Jagan could be behind the bars by the time elections are announced in AP. He will have the fate of Sasikala by that time they say. Then Rajgopal and Botsa Satyanarayana might take the centre stage in the YSRC. Who knows, in politics everything is possible.
