Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao ordered education minister Sabitha Indra Reddy to declare a holiday for educational institutions on July 28 (Friday) in the wake of heavy rains in the state.
He has also ordered CS Shanti Kumar to use Army helicopters for rescue operations in the flood areas. KTR the Minister for Municipal Administration has decided to visit the flood areas in person.
KCR from Pragathi Bhavan and KTR from his office are supervising the flood situation in the state, apart from the rescue operations from time to time.
