All said and done Kaleshwaram is a talked about the project across the world. It has increased the area of irrigation and agriculture in the state of Telangana.
The American Society of Civil Engineers – Environmental and Water Resources Institute (ASCE – EWRI) has invited Telangana IT, Industries, and Municipal Administration Minister K.T. Rama Rao to deliver the Keynote address at the World Environmental & Water Resources Congress to be held in Henderson at Nevada in the US from May 21-25.
KTR participated in this prestigious annual event held in Sacramento, US six years ago on May 22, 2017. Now he has been invited again by the same organization taking the success story of the irrigation projects in the state of Telangana under the dynamic leadership of KCR.
Harish Rao was the minister for irrigation during the construction of Kaleshwaram. But there are people also who say that the Kaleshwaram project is a waste of money.
The BJP leaders say that there is a big scam involved in the Kaleshwaram project.
During his keynote address then, the Minister explained the various water-related initiatives taken up by the Telangana government such as Kaleshwaram Project, Mission Bhageeratha, and Mission Kakatiya.
It has to be seen if KTR would go for the International Seminar in the future.
