The Telangana government was committed to resolving the issues of the Journalists and will continue to work for TS assured K Taraka Rama Rao the Minister for IT and Industries. KTR will be participating in a function organised by the Media Academy at Jalavihar on 7nth that is Sunday.
The Journalists have been expecting lands as part of the Journalists housing society for a long time. KCR the Chief Minister assured lands and also financial assistance for the construction of houses also.
Earlier KCR attended meetings at Press Academy and assured of all help to the Journalists. More than 100 crore was sanctioned to the Academy.
KTR will be disbursing the cheques for financially helping the needy journalists here in Hyderabad. Allam Narayana the Press Academy Chairman will Preside over the function here. He promised to take up the issue of houses and house sites for journalists with Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and bring it to a logical conclusion.
The Minister assured that he would resolve the pending issues pertaining to journalists at the earliest.
KTR discussed various issues like pending funds to the Telangana State Media Academy, allocation of house sites to working journalists in various parts of the State including Hyderabad, grading for small newspapers among others, with Academy chairman Allam Narayana and journalist leaders.
